| Wiki description: | We are planning on creating a free set of mathematics course material for Finnish high-school students to supplement or even eventually replace the commercially available ones. Some of us in the mathematical community are concerned with the sometimes less-than-rigorous approach to the teaching of mathematics, resulting in loss of interest and a growing gap between the skills and the requirements of said students.

| Extra information: | As you are no doubt aware, the American way of teaching mathematics to students (particularly so in lower grades) has changed several times over the years, and not always for the best. Finland has the (perhaps unfortunate) tendency of tagging along. We're actively trying to prevent a decline in the teaching of mathematics in our own country.
