Description
This is a self-help wiki based off Lauren at Faux Real Tho!'s concept of a place for low-income people to share their skills in the interest of helping each other gain skills and services on a tight budget.
Community
There is a large community set up around running HUHO carnival-style at Feministe.us/blog, Pandagon.net and fauxrealtho.com. Pandagon is considered an A-list blog (I am sure you're aware of the Amanda Marcotte dust-up) and Feministe and fauxrealtho both have sizeable readerships. When this wiki is up and running with the backlog of articles inserted, I plan to advertise the wiki on these blogs.
Additional Information
Please see the following links to previous HUHO threads at the aforementioned popular blogs, and the comments sections, interest in finding a home for the project, and number of entries thus far. It would greatly enhance the functionality of the project if a wiki could house it, and we could attract more contributors this way.
