Red Alert 2 Walkthrough/Guide Here is the plan, I'm going with the Allied missions first and then Soviet. Allied Mission 1 - Operation Lone Guardian Well, start off by making Tanya place some C4 explosives on the Soviet Dreadnoughts. She will immediately become an elite unit (good for us). Now get her out of the water (don't need to give her a towel, though) and get to the veteran GIs. The Soviets will immediately Paradrop some Conscripts. Don't worry, the GIs and Tanya will take care of them. After they are killed, let Tanya lead the way, and head to Fort Bradley. You will get control of the base. Now, get Tanya out of there (not into the Soviet outpost!) and head northeast of the fort, where you will find three Grizzly Tanks. Some Soviets will land there, but Tanya and the Grizzlies will take good care of them. Then, take the tanks, dogs and GIs and destroy the Soviet base. Allied Mission 2 - Operation Eagle Dawn Kill the Soviet soldiers patrolling the roads (careful, don't let Tanya die!). Get Tanya into the small pond in front of the enemy base, kill all the guards there and destroy the two Flak Cannons. Now your Rocketeers can safely eliminate the three Sentry Guns around the base, and your Engineers can arrive and capture all the buildings in the base.Use your Harriers to attack enemy Harvesters. Do not approach the enemy base, otherwise you are likely to lose your air force. Build twelve or fifteen Grizzly Tanks. Siege the enemy base from three directions: main entrance, the back entrance and the eastern side.Once you move into the base and destroy the Flak Cannons, a large GI company will arrive to assist you. Clear the area and proceed to the next mission. Allied Mission 3 - Operation Hail to the Chief Start off normally, and garrison the two civilian buildings with the GIs and deploy the extras inside your base, by the bridge. Keep torturing the Soviets with your Harriers and repair as many monuments as possible. Build an army of around 10 Grizzlies, 15 IFVs and 20 Rocketeers (not including the reinforcements you get in the middle of the mission) and assault the Brown Soviet base first and then the Red Soviet base. |
