It sounds as though what you are looking for is a single page on a Wikia site rather than a whole separate wiki. You can make this on the Scratchpad Wikia without a request. Visit the "make a new wiki" page on Scratchpad and enter the title of your article to start it. There might also be relevant wikis in the List of Wikia where you could add this page.

You may also like to try our simple Wikia Tutorial which explains much more about editing.

We have found that many place-based wiki don't attract enough editors to work well at the moment. So we are encouraging a new format of larger wikis for all communities around the world.

We have two wikis in the English language that cover all areas of the world and we would really love to see these started in other languages as well. With a larger community from around the world, these wikis should be active and exciting places to edit.

The World Wikia is a wiki all about resources for visitors to any part of the world. We also have a wiki for locals at the Cities Wikia. This wiki complements the World Wikia, allowing information more relevant to people living in an area.

Perhaps you would consider starting one of these wikis in your language. You would be able to start the project with information about your area and invite others to add pages on other areas around the world. If you would like to do this, please create a new request page using the Request a Wikia form.

This will give you the benefit of having other wiki editors on the same site who can help you maintain your wiki and prevent it from being vandalised, and avoids the likelihood of having an inactive wiki if there are not enough people wanting to edit this topic.
